I seem to have spent most of them trundling round the country going to comedy gigs with the lovely Jools. And in between my various trips to London, Cardiff and Nottingham, in pursuit of comedy, I managed several trips to the National Theatre and a visit to Wembley, but the least said about that the better.....all did not end well at Wembley. Don't get me wrong the stadium was fantastic and I had a brilliant day, but the journey home would have been so much better if we'd won!

This year seems to have happened in a whirlwind and I can't quite believe it's nearly the middle of October. The big Wembly disappointment hasn't cooled my love of the game. I renewed my season ticket and am enjoying myself as much as usual, which sometimes isn't a lot. You have to be used to disappointment to support West Bromwich Albion. So my diary is full of football games, and not much else at the moment. However I am off to see Rush at the NEC tomorrow which should be a fantastic night out and then on Monday I fly off the the US for 10 days.

I have to admit I have had more fun and been to more places this year than I have in the past 10. In fact recently I have spent so much time in London I have invested in an Oyster card. And even though I'm tired and need my holiday I wouldn't change this past year for anything. I have lived this year and I've decided I like it, so next year is going to be more of the same. I already have yet another trip to London planned as well as a weekend to Switzerland sorted, so I've made a good start.

Oh yes and I will attempt to put some of my adventures on here for who ever reads this drivel to enjoy.

Nervousness

Well tonight's the night, it is the second leg of West Bromwich Albions play off semi final against the old enemy Wolverhampton Wanderer's. We go into this game 1 goal in the lead on aggregate (we managed a very slender win at the custard bowl on Sunday 3-2 to the Baggies) Now all we need to progress to a play off final against Derby and Wembley on the 28th May is a draw tonight. I have been down to London 3 times since the 24th April, I think I may move down here it would certainly save time and money!

I came down to London last week to see the new Joe Penhall play Landscape With Weapon at the national Cottesloe theatre. The play was brilliant, well written and superbly acted. Tom Hollander's performance was flawless as was those of the supporting cast. Considering I went to an afternoon matinee it was very well attended. The audience even boasted a Hollywood star....Jack (Pirates of the Carribean) Davenport, who was there with his wife Michelle Gomez and his fellow This Lifer Andrew Lincoln.

The big news is that I was interviewed for and Channel 4 DVD. This meant that I spent a Saturday afternoon sitting in a comedy writers back garden somewhere in London, drinking beer and generally having a bit of a giggle whilst some very strange a silly filiming took place some of which included me! I'm not sure when the DVD will be out but it is going to be the new box set of Green Wing DVD's, which should include both series of the programme along with the Special that was aired in Jan this year. Although to tell the truth i'm a little anxious about this as I was properly rubbish....I don't think I have a carreer in TV beckoning

Also to those who are lurking out there, the quiz is still running as there are still a few answers to get do please have a go you never know you may just like it

Quizical

Oh Lord I didn't think it had been that long between posts. It is now my responsibility to ensure that everyone is evacuated from my department when the fire alarm goes off. Great responsibility.....i've managed quite well without that for a good many years, and now it's kinda crept up on me. In short I am now a Fire Marshall. And how have I managed to gain this exalted office.....I spent 2 hours in a meeting room yesterday being told what my duties would be and then I spent an hour in one of the loading bays fannying around with fire extinguishers. Yup I actually got to set a few off. (Have to admit this bit was pretty good fun, and very messy. Also lunch was included which is always a good thing)

Anyway I now have a nice bright yellow Hi-viz vest with the words Fire Marshall emblazoned across the back in big red letters, and to go along with this most glorious of fashion accessories, a shed load of worry if the fire alarms do ever decide to go off. Mind you if they do go of I will be in charge and therefore can not get bollocked for shouting at people if they don't get of the arses to evacuate the building . Every cloud has a sliver lining

I Predict A Riot

As I'm sure you are aware I am a big fan of West Bromwich Albion Football Club. On Sunday we played our local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderer's in the 4th round of the FA cup. Now we haven't played Wolves in any cup game for many a year, so this was a big occasion for both sets of fans. It is fair to say that a win by Wolves on this occasion although not impossible was pretty unlikely. As it turns out West Brom emerged the victors on the day, winning the game 3 goals to 0.

The rivalry between the fans of these clubs is pretty intense, and the game was always going to be a volatile affair. The local police force and the board of Wolves FC had decided to turn over an entire stand to the Albion fans in order to keep both sets of fans apart, therefore reducing the risk of trouble. This didn't sit very well with the Wolverhampton fans who seats were to be occupied by Albion fans for the game, whilst they were relocated to other area's of the stadium. Now plenty of Wolves fans have been very vocal on this issue berating their club and their chairman for allowing this to happen, but considering that this happened at the end of the game I think that both the police and the clubs board can feel more than justified in their actions. I didn't go to the game on Sunday as I thought that there may be trouble.....How right can one person be. I really can't understand the point of behaving like an idiot when your team loose. I think the Wolves fans who behaved so appallingly on Sunday should be ashamed of themselves. By all accounts the Albion fans behaved brilliantly and were commended by the police, so well done to them for not letting their club down.

P.S Bragging right in the Black country are very important when it comes to a local derby so imagine my amusement when I received this on my e-mail the other day. I know it's rubbing salt into the wounds of the Wolves fans but it amused me and I dare say if the roles had been reversed the Wolves fans would be gloating just as well as the Albion fans are now.

Perspective

I'm a pretty artistic person, I can paint and draw pretty well , although don't ever ask me to do your portrait as you will end up looking like a cross between a mumpet and something out of alien (and I don't mean Sigorney Weaver!) I was lucky enough to be at the now pretty much infamous Green Wing Convention. I thought I would attempt to descibe my weekend, so here goes

Friday

Meet up with Spence at Digbeth bus station for our busy journey to fair old London town. We had a pretty good journey what with the IT girls sitting behind us how just couldn't wait for the festival season to start and the Life of Brian extra from the sermon on the mount who spent the entire journey talking to himself ......it was all good fun. Met up with other conventioneers at Victoria....Bikey, Stacie, Rachel, Fraudulent Little Tart, MDM, Waxy and Terri. It was the off to catch the tube to the venue. The rest of Friday night included drinking, blowing up balloons, sticking stickers on yoyo's and singing and dancing around Tesco.

Saturday

Up early for breakfast, then on with the decorating. Then it was helping with getting everyone badged up and sorted into their teams for the quiz. I got to insult a famous person and run around a green in the middle of London with a waste paper bin on my head whilst being filmed.....and this I did whilst sober. I spent far too much money on auction items and then had some drinks and stuck post it notes on my head......yup I was still sober.

Sunday

Up early again for to catch coach home, very tired but very happy. I had a fantastic weekend which will stay with me for every. Cheers to everyone who orgainized it and to everyone I met whilst there, you are all wonderful people.

Sprouts !

Ok this is for anyone who hates sprouts....enjoy

My Big Fat Christmas Quiz

OK as we all know it's nearly that time of the year again when a jolly fat dressed in red visits us in the middle of the night to leave us everything our hearts desire......well every we liked the look of in the argos catalogue at least. The other night whilst I was flicking through the channels trying desperately to find anything remotely worth watching, I stumbled across this. It's billed as the "real OC". Basically MTV have followed 8 teenagers around documenting their every move. These teenager just happen to be (or should I say their parents just happen to be ) incredibly rich. They live in one of the most exclusive and expensive beach resorts in the US and all of them are beautiful.

I think the worst thing about this program's is that although its meant to be about real teenagers, it's not. How many teenagers do you know that can take a skiing trip just because they're depressed, or can go on a holiday to Mexico (unsupervised) during their school holidays. Most of the teenagers who were filmed were not yet in college. MTV aren't showing real teenage life they're showing what life could be like if only your parents were minted. It's a very singular view, there are no ordinary people, they are all rich and beautiful. I ended up feeling sorry for the 8 teenagers who participated in this show, I can honestly say that it may do them more harm than good. Ok so they'll have their 5 mins of fame, but it will be for all the wrong reasons. This show portrays them in a very poor light, they seem to be nothing more than image obsessed spoilt brats. All the girls are shown as bitchy primadonna's and all the guys as two timing lothario's (sp?). I think maybe the idea of fame blinded them to what could really happen. I hope that having seen the show they will think twice about participating in any further series.

Well now I'll put my little soap box away and update the quiz.

Joint 1st Place

Ruby & Molly

2nd Place

The Whales

Joint 3rd Place

Realdoc
Trac

Well done also to Button (2), Howsey (2) and Billy (1)

The remaining answers were

7. Anyway having checked today I noticed that I had some more guesses on the quiz so I have updated the quiz post with the correct answers but there are still 6 left to get so keep going, and well done to everyone who has had a go.

Pointless Joke Alert

A lonely woman, aged 70, decided that it was time to get married. She put an ad in the local paper that read:

HUSBAND WANTED!
MUST BE IN MY AGE GROUP (70's), MUST NOT BEAT ME, MUST NOT RUN AROUND ON ME, AND MUST STILL BE GOOD IN BED! ALL APPLICANTS PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON.

On the second day she heard the doorbell.

Much to her dismay, she opened the door to see a gray-haired gentleman with no arms or legs sitting in a wheelchair.

The old woman said, "You're not really asking me to consider you, are you? Just look at you.... you have no legs!" The old man smiled, "Therefore I cannot run around on you!"

She snorted. "You don't have any hands either!" Again the old man did not smile, "Nor can I beat you!"

She raised an eyebrow and gazed intently. "Are you still good in bed?" With that, the old gentleman leaned back, beamed a big broad smile and said, "I rang the doorbell, didn't I?"

Well it amused me!

P.S the quiz is still going so keep posting your answers and I will update as and when needed

Quiz of the Week Reprisal

Ok I haven't done one of these for a few weeks, so I thought those quiz minded of you out there would like another fab anagram quiz. This was the first place I visited. It looks a little like this

I was reliably informed that Bangkok is based on LA where the car is king. The city has no centre it's pretty much a mixture of skyscrapers, slums and the odd temple.

Traffic jams are plenty in Bangkok. It doesn't matter if they're on the roads or the waterways

I was actually in one of these boats, which all told are fairly unstable especially when negotiation corners. I really thought I would be going for a swim! This picture is taken at the floating market just outside of Bangkok.

I managed quite a few modes of transport when I was on holiday. There were planes, the odd boat (some of them were very odd) and I even took a little train journey

This is the train in question. We were actually trundling down what is known as the Death railway. Thousands of alied soldiers died in it's construction, it's a pretty sobering thought. The call it the Jeath railway in Thailand. Basically the name contains the capital letters of all the countries connected with it (Japan, England, Austraila, Thailand and Holland).

So if I went there I most certainly went to see the bridge, and the cemetary. These 2 places were really quite sad. I think the Cemetary was the saddest place, all those markers, line after line it really bought everything into perspective.

So finally on to the one thing there are plenty of in Bangkok. They say that in America there is Starbucks on every corner. Well In Bangkok there is a Temple on every street. So I will leave you with the most famous inhabitants of 2 of these temples. So after 8 aeroplanes, 5 Coaches, 4 Boats, 1 train and a tri-shaw later I have arrived back on English soil (very damp English soil) I've had a great holiday, even if it wasn't very relaxing. I will at some point load some photo's on here so you can see what i got up to.

I certainly packed quite a lot into my 2 weeks away, some of which include a trip down the death railway and a visit to the bridge over the river Kwai, a Sai Pan ride around Hong Kong harbour as well as a trip on the famous Star Ferry (which was very expensive at 14 pence for a return journey), high tea at Raffles Hotel (this was very posh and fabulous) and a tri-shaw ride around Hua Hin. I will put some photo's up on here to illustrate the fun that was had, including some of the tropical storms that occurred whilst I was out there.

I have to say the three placed I wen't couldn't be more different. Bangkok was a strange mixture of beautiful modern hotels and skyscrapers and shanty towns, and there is literally a temple on every corner! The Thai people are so nice, nothing is too much trouble, they really look after you. Hong Kong was just busy, very busy. It's pretty much a jungle of skyscrapers, which thrive on pollution. The air in Hong Kong is terrible I know why the people there wear those masks, I could have done with one after a day. And then there's Singapore , which is simply beautiful. It's peaceful (well anywhere could be considered peacefull after Hong Kong) it's a fascinating mixture of the colonial and the new, it's a great place to relax.

Anyway that's all for now. I will put some photo's up that I hope will illustrate my incoherent witterings. I'd just like to say I'm glad to be back, and I look forward to catching up with everyone soon.

Bugger

So i'm off on my holidays tomorrow, hurrah! This lack of posting has been due to severe lack of time.

My weekend hasn't been the best. Since Friday I have been through panic, fear, loneliness, sorrow and resignation all topped off with a healthy dose of complete and utter exhaustion, both mentally and physically.

On Friday night my father decided to present all the symptoms of a heart attack. Luckily he wasn't actually having a heart attack. (this little piece of information wasn't found out until he had his ECG) Now this in itself is really quite a scary prospect, although the fear I don't think really struck home until the following morning, the realization of it was preceded by a phone call from the hospital (where I had left my father earlier that morning (1am to be precise) on the advise that all was ok, he wasn't having a heart attack his ECG was fine they just needed to run tests and he would be out later that day) informing me that he had been moved into the Corony care unit and would be there for at least 3 days. SHIT! It was at this point I became frightened, panicked, sad and lonely (you see my brother was at this time in Portugal or at least on a plane back from Portugal) and having to face the prospect that a) my father was very ill and b) I would have to tell my nan (his mother).

Prospect A was by far the worse, this is what bought on the fear etc, as my father is the only parent I have left (cancer claiming my mother over 12 years ago now) I don't think I have ever felt so alone as I did when I was sitting on the bottom of the stairs after just receiving the phone call from the hospital. I think I sat there for 10 mins just feeling numb and helpless. Eventually my brain kicked in and I started to inform people who needed to know. Luckily by the time I had to be at the hospital to see the doctor my brother had got back home (he literally walked through the door, dropped his suitcase and walked out again to go to the hospital with me)

The good news is my father is going to be just fine. Apparently one of the veins in his heart had almost closed up and that was what was causing the pain he had on Friday. This they have fixed my putting in a stent and my dad was allowed home on Tuesday. He is at this time at home and bored ! As for me I'm relieved but still incredibly tired (well living on hardly any sleep for 4 days will do that to you)

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who supported me through this. I was roundly chastised by serveral aunts for not calling them on the Friday night, the fact that I had no money, no mobile phone (I was in such a hurry to get to the hospital I just about managed to remember to pick my house keys up !) or indeed their phone numbers seems not to matter to them. Everyone has been great. My Friend Lisa especially. She was the poor soul who I rang and then promptly sobbed uncontrollably down the phone at. Anyway all is pretty much ok now so I will leave this here.

P.S I will put the quiz results up shortly, as there are still a few left to get.

First Lines

Ok firstly appologies for not updating this blog in a while but i've been a busy Baggie. Upon entering the house, they call out for their eldest daughter, whose 18th birthday it was that day. The expected answer did not come, so the father went upstairs.

He knocked and entered his daughter's bedroom and saw a letter on the bed. With the worst possible premonition, he read with trembling hands:

Dear Mum and Dad,It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm telling you that I've eloped with my new boyfriend. I've found real love and he is so nice, especially with all his piercings, scars, tattoos, and his big motorcycle.
But it is not only that, I'm pregnant and Ahmed said that we will be very happy in his trailer in the woods. He wants to have many more children with me and that is one of my dreams.
I've learned that marijuana doesn't hurt anyone and we'll be growing it for us and his friends. They're the ones providing us with all the cocaine and ecstasy we could ever want.
In the meantime, we'll pray for science to find the AIDS cure so Ahmed gets better. He deserves it.
Don't worry about money, Ahmed has arranged for me to be in films that his friends Leroy and Jamal make in their basement. Apparently I can earn £50 a scene and I get a £50 bonus if there are more than three men in the scene, and an extra £100 if they use a horse.
Don't worry Mum, now I'm 18 years old I know how to take care of myself. Someday I'll visit you and Dad so that you can meet your grandchildren.
Your loving daughter, Aimee

P.S. Dad, it's not true, I'm at a neighbours house. I am running (staggering , crawling) in aid of Cancer research. I will be participating in the memory of my mother who died of cancer some 12 years ago now. Anyway if anyone reading this would like to sponsor me you can do by visiting here
Any donations would be extremely welcome and very much appreciated. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the Met Police with carrying weapons of maths instruction."Al-gebra is a problem for us," Reid said. "They desire solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute values.

They use secret code names like 'x` and `y` and refer to themselves as `unknowns, `but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with co-ordinates in every country.

As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle".

When asked to comment on the arrest, Prime Minister Tony Blair, speaking from his holiday resort before the planes stopped flying, said, "If God had wanted us to have better Weapons of Maths Instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes."

Greetings

All I have to say today is a big hello and welcome to Kevin Phillips, who has made the wise* choice to sign for West Bromwich Albion .

I have now updated the quiz, and there are still some of the easier answers left to find.

Ok so there's also this. I recieved it this afternoon and it just made me smile so I thought I would share

Delia's Way
Stuff a miniature marshmallow in the bottom of a sugar cone to prevent ice-cream drips. The

Real Woman's Way
Just suck the ice cream out of the bottom of the cone, for God's sake. It's an effective reproductive device if the right buttons are pushed, but can wreak havoc if the wrong buttons are pushed.

*A Hot Air Balloon is Male, because, to get it to go anywhere, you have to light a fire under it, and of course, there's the hot air part.

*Sponges are Female, because they're soft, squeezable and retain water.

*A Web Page is Female, because it's always getting hit on.

*A Subway is Male, because it uses the same old lines to pick people up.

*An Hourglass is Female, because over time, the weight shifts to the bottom.

*A Hammer is Male , because it hasn't changed much over the last 5,000 years, but it's handy to have around.

*A Remote Control is Female. Had you fooled! You thought it'd be male , didn't you? But consider this - it gives a man pleasure, he'd be lost without it, and while he doesn't always know the right buttons to push, he keeps trying!

It may me wonder what other inanimate everyday objects you could assign a gender to and why.

Inappropriate Conversation No. 1

Part of my job involves ordering items of uniform for various members of staff, mostly mechanics. The particular conversation I am about to retell involved trousers. The problem with our uniform supplier is that they only keep popular sizes in stock. So if you need larger sizes or smaller sizes you have to wait for the odd year or so while they are made. Ok so knowing this about a month and a half ago I ordered some trousers for one of the mechanics. The said mechanic requires rather large trousers. I did explain the situation to him regarding large sized items of clothing and them taking forever to be delivered. Anyway Mr Mechanic has been whinging at me for a couple of days about his trousers (or rather the lack of them) so in a fit of fed upness I chased up the whereabouts of his trousers and found out they would be with us next week. This information I passed on the the Team leader on duty to pass on to Mr Mechanic... Ok here comes the conversion.

Team Leader - Trace I've spoken to Mr Mechanic (this his not his real name). I've told him you've spoken to Fat Bastards Trouser emporium and they say his trousers will be here next week

Me - Ok, thanks for that. What did he have to say

Team Leader - Well he said if he worked anywhere else they would have just told him that they'd rung up about his trousers and they would be here next week. I told him he should have been expecting the fat bastard comment.

Me - Well he really should have done.

Team leader - Anyway he did say that he doesn't need big trousers because he's a fat bastard, he needs big trousers to house his enormous cock !

Me - Oh ok

I have pondered on this conversation and come to several conclusions the first being I really didn't want to know why he needs very large trousers and the second being that , that must be the most original excuse for having to buy big trousers I have ever heard.

Can I just point out we do have a dignity in the work place policy that we have all signed and quite obviously take no notice off.

Quiz update:-

This will teach me to check my posts properly.

Sorry Poe you are indeed correct you did guess the Beautiful South , so thats another pint to you. My manager is on a weeks holiday and I am all alone with no one to bother me or ask me to make the tea. I love having the office to my self I always seem to get more work done, and it means I get to listen to any music I want at a volume I can actually hear. So today I am listening to various CD's I have bought in with me, mostly calming ones as the "the fear" that started on Friday has well and truly taken hold today. I am trying not to think about injections . (It's not working I just did...arrgghh)

Anyway I thought I'd better give the results of the quiz out. They are as follows :-

Stacie takes the title with 8 correct answers
Poe comes in a close second with 5 (although I think he got the hardest one which was Max Bygraves)
Then in joint 3rd place with one each are Billy. Kate and Rachel

Anyway well done all. Keep a check as no doubt I will be posting some more soon

Football update....Ok so were 3 games into the season and so for we've one 1 and drawn 2. We are sitting 10th in the table but i'm not panicking yet, all i'm saying is we must do better and does anybody have a striker for sale?

By the way with reference to the last quiz the missing answers are

4. Toilet Lecture = Lou Reed
5. Contributing to car safety = Crash Test Dummies
10. Sting in the Tail = Scorpians
14. Gorgeous but not Northern = The Beautiful South

Injection update. I am a complete wuss the injection wasn't as painful as I thought it was going to be, it was just a little prick......ok there's a joke in there somewhere, answers on a postcard

That Friday Feeling

Well it's Friday again.... Hurrah!!! My working week is done, and I'm really quite glad about that. Although it does mean that I only have 3 days left before I have to go and get an injection. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but I really have the fear when it comes to injections. You see the problem is I've only ever had 2 injections in my life. You may be thinking that for someone of my age (unfortunately I left my twenties behind last year) 2 is quite a small number of injections to have had. Well for this I blame my father. You see my dad has a condition that goes by the name of serum sickness, which basically means he's allergic to the serum's used in vaccinations. The thing with this condition is that it's hereditary, hence me only ever having 2 injections. In short I'm ok if TB or Polo come calling, but all the basic childhood diseases such as measles etc would have a rare old time as I have no immunity to them at all. This is doubly confounded by the fact that I am an infuriatingly healthy person and have only every had chicken pox ......Oops !

Anyhow back to the problem at hand. Not only do I have to have the dreaded needle but because of the old serum sickness thinngy I have to have an entirely synthetic one (just to be on the safe side, my dad nearly died because of this condition of his) which means I have the physical pain to contend with (my pain threshold is so low you have to dig for it !) I also have to pay £60.00! Quite frankly I think parting with the money is going to be more painful than the injection. I think next yearI'm going to go to Devon or Cornwall....they don't have Yellow Fever there do they ????

Rachel's Request

Ok as per Rachel's request, here are some more of those delightful cryptic clues.

1. I'm usually not too bad on Monday mornings but today I have wanted to be anywhere other than at work. So I hear you say whats so strange about that, well the truth is I'm one of those lucky people who has a job they adore. Ok so I don't get paid shed loads of money and I'm not high powered and important and yes a lot of what I do is repetative, but I do get paid enough to live on, and be able to go on holiday and enjoy myself. I also have zero stress and a manager who doesn't care what time I get in or what time I leave as long as by the end of the week my work is done (he also makes a good cup of tea) So why this morning did I wake up in dread of going into the office? I really don't know. I'm just hoping it's beacuse I'm tired and I'm getting impatient for my holiday to be here. I think I just need my 2 weeks of doing something different every day in a different country ( well in my case it will be 3 different countries) Well what ever it is I hope I feel less Mondayish tomrrow.

By the way football update the Baggies beat Hull City 2 goals to nill. All I have to say on this matter is Super super John, Super super John, Super super John, Super Johnny Hartson !

The Beautiful Game

Well that time of year is upon us again......Yes the footie season gets underway for the teams in the Championship tomorrow, and I for one can't wait! I am starting to get really excited, as I can now get my weekly fix of the Baggies (West Bromwich Albion). I know we were relegated last season from the dizzy heights of the Premiership, so instead of Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal paying us a visit we now have Hull City, Luton Town, Preston and Colchester......mmmm not much of a difference there then!

There are however some good games to look forward to. The most eagerly anticipated one will the the local derby Against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Basically this game is the same as Everton v Liverpool and Manchester United v Manchester City. Winning this game means everything. The rivalry between the 2 teams and their fans is so intense that the 2 matches will be played on a Sunday afternoon and 12pm. We haven't played a competitive match against the Wolves for 4 years.....It will be immense.

The game I'm least looking forward to is the one against Cardiff. Why I hear you ask, the simple answer is the fans. A lot of Cardiff fans are horrible, they are hostile and nasty. Believe me last season I went to a pre- season friendly at Cardiff. The Cardiff fans spent the entire match hurling abuse at us rather than watching the game, and as I've already said it was only a friendly. At most stadiums the away fans are in their own section or are separated from the home fans by a section of seating. At Cardiff there are 2 massive nets and there are no seats, you can't throw what's not there ! Anyway I'm hoping they behave themselves when they visit the Hawthorns.

Quick update on the quiz. There is only 1 question outstanding and that is number 17. I will update the post with the answers apart from 17 that is

Quiz Time

Good morning all. I'm new to this blogging malarky so you'll have to excuse me if I ramble a bit, but then again that is the title of my blog so I think that's what I'll do !

For some reason I have been unusually busy recently. For example this weekend I spent enjoying my little self completely. On Saturday was the annual fun day at work. It had a wild west theme this year. So I spent my Saturday afternoon wandering around site drinking beer (which was free) eating burgers (which were also free) and wearing a straw Stetson (again this was free). I had a go on the mechanical bull and lasted about 2 seconds, I was really bad but it was all good fun. Then on Sunday I went to the football. Sunday saw the Baggies (West Brom Albion) final friendly before the start of the season (which is on Saturday). It was a nice day apart from the match being dull (but then again friendlies usually are) and the people sitting behind me. I unfortunately had 3 people sitting behind me on Sunday who go to the football once a year and like to spend it criticizing the team. People like this really annoy me. If they think the team is that bad why o why don't they just stay at home, that way they save money and their constant whinging doesn't annoy everyone sitting by them ! Ok that's my football rant over and done with but I'm sure it won't be my last !

Anyway I think that's it for now. That's my first post done I just hope can keep finding things to whitter about
